SMB Print on Linux, Unix or Mac!

To add a SMB printer from a Windows Server or Client that have a local printer shared use the cups configuration page on you linux or mac or unix:

Open

http://localhost:631


Select add printer

Select smb printer

in URL put:

smb://DOMAIN\User:Password@ip_of_server/Printqueuename

or

smb://User:Password@ip_of_server/Printqueuename

or

smb://ip_of_server/Printqueuename

then, select the printer driver

and print a test page.
